Robert Clymer Gilmore

Robert Clymer Gilmore was born in Pocatello, Idaho, 1923. He died in Eugene, Oregon, 2011. He studied music and art at the University of Oregon in the 1940s. He married Norma Pauline Driscoll, a fellow art student in 1952. He and his wife were heavily influenced by Cézanne, Picasso, Poussin, and classical thought. Robert studied under Jack Wilkinson and Dave McCosh. Over his nearly seven decade career, he created well over a thousand paintings and other works.
